The 800,000-ton/year high-temperature decomposition and condensation unit of Ningxia Baoruilong Petrochemical achieved a successful first-time start-up.

At 6:15 a.m. on September 22, 2022, the 800,000-ton/year high-temperature decomposition and condensation unit of Ningxia Baoruilong Petrochemical Co., Ltd., designed by our company, achieved a successful first-time commissioning and produced qualified products. The completion and commissioning of this unit has added an important part to the refining design sector of Zhida Petrochemical, which is of far-reaching significance.
From the signing of the design contract on November 16, 2021, to the commissioning of the project, it took 10 and a half months, creating a miracle of the shortest design cycle and construction speed for the same type of unit in China's petrochemical industry. This achievement is inseparable from the sincere cooperation of all colleagues in the company's project team and the full support of the company's leaders.
After the project kick-off meeting, various specialties reversed the schedule according to the owner's construction period, rushed for progress, ensured quality, and made every effort to promote the progress of the project. As the leading specialty of the company, the process specialty completed the ordering of all long-cycle equipment within one month, ensuring that the owner completed the procurement of major equipment before the Spring Festival. In order to cooperate with the owner to save investment, the equipment specialty overcame difficulties and completed all construction drawing designs of the project's heating furnaces and all heat exchangers in a short time. Despite the lack of returned data, the civil engineering specialty completed the design of all foundation drawings on the eve of the Spring Festival, ensuring that the civil engineering works entered the construction state as soon as possible after the festival. When the piping specialty received the task, it was just in the closing stage of the Huizhou project. The piping specialty actively coordinated internally, concentrated the strength of one team, completed the piping design of all 9 zones of the unit within three months, and successively sent three experienced on-site representatives from May to do a good job in on-site services and solve problems for the owner. As the specialty most affected by returned data and upstream specialties, the instrument and electrical specialty took the initiative to organize all staff to work overtime to complete the design task with quality and quantity guaranteed, even though the owner's ordering data were generally available in April and May.
During the commissioning period of the project, the company also attached great importance to it and sent an 8-person commissioning team led by Chief Engineer Liu Xing, Deputy Chief Engineers Zhang Yuwei and Zhang Lijun. After ten days, they solved the technical problems existing before the commissioning for the owner and cleared the last obstacles. At 4 a.m. on September 22, General Manager Liu and the two General Managers Zhang led the company's young engineers, braving the cold wind, climbed up the 100-meter-high tower platform, and witnessed the commissioning moment together with the owner.
The commissioning of this project is not only of great significance to Zhida Petrochemical, but also of great significance to Ningxia Ruike Energy Group, an old customer of Zhida Petrochemical. It has solved the raw material shortage that has plagued Ruike Energy Group for many years, improved the enterprise's raw material adaptability, improved the operation level of various units, ensured the stable production of the enterprise, and laid the foundation for Ningxia Ruike Energy Group to achieve leapfrog development.
