After six months of design, construction and trial operation, the catalytic unit renovation project of Changchun Xinda Petroleum Group Nong'an Petrochemical Co., Ltd., which involves the decommissioning and deactivation of the atmospheric unit and was designed by our company, achieved a successful first-time start-up on September 9, 2023. The unit is operating well with stable product performance, and all process indicators have met the design requirements. Recently, our company received a good news notice from Changchun Xinda.
To implement the relevant work requirements of the Central Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspection Team, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and other superior departments, a 750,000-ton/year atmospheric unit of Changchun Xinda will be decommissioned. The decommissioning method is to deactivate the atmospheric unit of Changchun Xinda Petroleum Group Nong'an Petrochemical Co., Ltd., that is, to remove the atmospheric distillation function of the atmospheric unit.
Faced with tight schedules and heavy tasks, Chief Engineer Liu Xing personally led the technical team to determine the optimal design scheme and specific implementation details. Under the coordination of the project manager, technical personnel from various specialties of the company actively cooperated, ensuring the smooth implementation of the design scheme for the adaptive supporting adjustment of the original atmospheric catalytic cracking joint unit after the decommissioning and deactivation of the atmospheric unit. This has enabled the catalytic cracking unit and other production units to continue production and operation, creating greater economic and social value for the enterprise.
